Thank you so much for sharing this information with everyone who has ears to hear!  I had heard of the Pope visiting with President Bush – which in itself was disturbing news to me – but I didn’t know of his plans to visit a synagogue.  I watched the YouTube video on Pope Benedict worshipping at a Jewish Temple – wow!  I really had no idea that Catholics and Jews were coming together with the intent to deny Jesus as the Messiah.  I am a mere student and there is so much I have yet to know.  I am glad that you care enough to share what you know and how you feel, and that you take a stand!  You are blessed Aviad.  I thank Jesus/Yeshua for bringing you and your music into my life at this critical time.

My name is John. I am 19 years-old and live in Norway, close to Stavanger. I am what you can say "half Jew" from the father side...anyway in Pesach, 2 years ago I was visiting Israel for the first time in 10 years. For me, this was pretty special...and I went through a lot emotionally after the visit.
 
I`ve always been ashamed somehow for being Jewish. I only knew a couple in Norway. For me to not conect with somebody was dificult.
 
As I said, I visited Israel, and it gave me a much improved identity, I thought. The thing was that I somehow was impressed by the country and what they had accomplished. And for some time after I was a "stronger Jew"which for me meant I could stand for my Jewish identity. I was proud really.
 
Than sometime after this I was searching the web and I found your site with the article "True Jew". I just want to say to you, it really changed my way of thinking. I am very glad you do this kind of mission. Finaly I could find myself as a True Jew, not just a Christian with Jewish roots. I just want you to know that for me this was really important :)

As a secular Jew who has compassion and respect for everyone, and after reading your blog and myspace page, I find it disgusting and vile for Orthodox Jews to slander those who don't share their beliefs and philosophies. Although I don't believe in Jesus as messiah, I totally respect your (and anyone else) who believes in him; the way some Orthodox bully people with whom they disagree is nothing less than a manifestation of pure evil and shows that when they do such things, they are filled with hate, rage, and zero respect for anyone else's way of life and belief system. It really does make me sick to hear about how some of my fellow Jewish bretherin abuse (physically and emotionally) those who do not follow their practices and rituals. I would hope that you would keep doing what you're doing and simply ignore those who would resort to cowardice to get their point across. Anyways, I just had to get that off my chest; I really do enjoy your music even if I don't follow the word of Jesus.

I'm Rune from Norway and the father of 5 kids and the husband of a wonderful wife. First let me say that I understand the tremendous response you generate through your ministry, and for that reason I am prepared to wait a long time for a response to this email, if any at all. And that is OK, Aviad. I just want to thank you for inspiring the kids out there and myself to be true to our Lord whatever the cost.

I just want to point out the direction to another true Jew: Ray Comfort from New Zealand who has preached the gospel for 30 years in an uncompromising way. He has maybe the most important message I have ever heard. He uses the Law of Moses to strip people of all their self righteousness and show them their desperate need of God's forgiveness. The Law is good if used for the purpose it was designed, and that was to be a schoolmaster to Christ. It is like a mirror showing people their true state. It is like looking into the mirror in the morning t see what damage the night has done. His desire above all is to see people repent of their sins and receive Jesus as their Lord and saviour. He follows our Lord's example sharing the good news: It was Law to the proud and grace to the humble. I am convinced that you will like his style. :-)

Today is 3/9/2006. I was on the internet looking for that Mitsayahu guy, but you are much more uplifting. I must say that it is awesome hearing Jews realize that Jesus is the Lord and Savior. I am a gentile, but a Christian like you, which binds us closer than any birth right or blood line could ever do. Remember that this time is still of the gentiles, and that a veil has been pulled over the eyes of the Jewish people. For all the Messianic Jews who read this, take comfort in knowing that there are many gentile christians who support you and your nation, and believe that the land and nation of Israel belongs to the true, and only, God. I love "We Delight". Our whole church held hands and danced around the whole church inside and outside to that one song over and over. We were so loud people from the street were coming in to see what was going on. So...I just finished watching all your videos on Google, though I should be finishing my term paper which is due in like 10 hrs :) but when I watched the first video I was hooked! Wow! I know a lot of your videos are garnered more for Jews but it has explained so much that I've always questioned. I never understood why Jews do not realize that Christians support them and, I know it sounds cliché, but want to be their friends. I mean, there are so many role models in the Bible that are Jewish: David, Daniel, Joshua, etc. For example, in my church we have just started doing a series of studying Gideon and his life...I mean, being a true Christian, your life becomes permeated with "Jews" ya know what I mean? I think what you're doing is awesome and I pray that God will keep you and lead you where He can use you. I understand what you mean about persecution from people you would least expect it...I am Romanian and Pentecostal, but have found SO MANY people in the Romanian community that make laws of customs and traditions and make God "Romanian". Next thing I know, all the kids are looking and loving your website that I was looking at. Instead of being in main room for the party, they were listening to your teaching. I found you while doing a search for English/Hebrew Jewish music. I found Matisyahu and was pretty impressed until I read about his affiliation with the Chabad. He's a great artist, but I have issues with supporting a message of the "Brooklyn Messiah", even though most of his messages don't directly proclaim him, I know it's his belief. Anyway... it was through this search that I found you... which is actually what I was looking for, but didn't even know existed. But as Jesus Himself has said in the Scriptures, John 15:20; "If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also." So, this is no surprise. The more public you are, the greater the persecution. But through the power of the Holy Spirit, you have the ability to persevere and overcome the attacks. But Aviad, also remember the words of Paul, ROMANS 12:14 - "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse." Being a Christian and following Jesus can be very difficult and painful at times. He asks us to do things that are very unnatural and against our nature. But we are new creatures in Christ and have the power to act differently than the world. But one of your life verses should be, 1 Samuel 2:30 But now the LORD declares: "Those who honor me I will honor." We are all Saints brother. All those who believe in the true Messiah, we dont need to be Catholic to be called saints. The Jews who practice Judaism need to be found because they are not following God, but the thoughts of men. The Talmud, Zohar, Midrash, ect, they refer to what rabbi's say and not God. I know what its like. A synogague I went to. All eyes were on the Rabbi. I asked people there, "Do you ever read Torah?" They commented, "No we just come to hear the Rabbi speak about it." I always say read Isaiah 53 it speaks of whom the rabbi say His name should be blotted out. The big problem is most Jews dont even read the Torah themselves. They rely too much on rabbis. This is why most Jews don't believe in Yeshua: because the rabbi tells them so. That skit with the rabbi you have sounds so truthful. People say he knows much, hes been well schooled for many years. Israel as the suffering servant (as rabbis believe Isaiah 53 is about them), you said it right when it says HE not WE. Tell everyone they need to read the Septuagent translation in which every Messianic prophecy can only refer to one person. It's too bad it's not read. I bet most Rabbi's know about the Septuagent but keep quiet about it because they wish to retain their power over the people. Yeshua said it best "You seek the praises of men, but not the true praise which is ONLY from God."Follow who Moses would have followed and that is not a rabbi. Judaism is far from what was given to Moses. All they look at is the rabbi's explanation of atonement: GOOD WORKS! Too bad my Tanakh says different "Your works are like filthy rags to Yahweh." You know how filthy? Filthier than period rags!!!S orry but I want you to feel grossed out about your works so that you won't boast about them, because our works do not have an inch on the great work God has done by sending his Son. My name is Linda. My sixteen year old son, Ben, is a fan of yours. I thought I would send a note to say that I've enjoyed reading your comments and thoughts. I guess our involvement with anything Messianic began when Ben was a little kid. We attended a church but really enjoyed celebrating the Biblical Feasts and seeing how much Yeshua is in the whole bible--even the New Testament. When Ben was about 4 years old, he was really excited about Hanukkah and lighting the candles that night. (In our family we see that the Shamash candle is Jesus who is our servant savior who is the light of the world. We use this holiday to rededicate our lives to Yeshua.) We were getting ready to go to church and he said that he bet that all the kids at church would be excited too. When I told him that they didn't know about Hanukkah or many of the other holidays that we celebrate, he looked at me shocked and wanted to know why. That was when we decided that we wanted our son to learn all he could about his Biblical heritage so he could share this with others. We started going to a Messianic congregation on Saturday and continued to attend our church on Sunday. Over the years I have seen a lot of things out of balance and to me the only balance is when we refocus on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I continue to pray for both the Church and Messianic Judaism.

My family and I love Israel and the Jewish people and we have visited Israel twice. Next year we are going to LIVE there!! How it is going to work out, well that's in God's hands. I found out about you by reading an Israel Today magazine and I am encouraged that you have come to know Yeshua as the Messiah and that's not all! You see God (through the Holy Spirit..I can't spell the Hebrew name for that, has been teaching us about our Jewish roots and that He hasn't forsaken the Jews. We no longer celebrate Christmas (for the last couple of years) and that seemed a bit strange to other Christians...let alone school friends..but it's because of its pagan roots. So I was encouraged to read that you think the same thing. Anyway that's just a little bit of who we are. After finishing high school I'm looking forward to this next adventure in Israel!!! I feel a bit like Ruth, you know leaving her home and going to Israel, but it is exciting!

50 Shekel, with your new belief in Yeshua you are mishpochah (family). Yeshua (Jesus) spoke of Moshe (Moses)in Yochanan (John) 5:46. "For if you really believed Moshe, you would believe Me; because it was about Me that he wrote. But if you say you don't believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?" Yeshua was born Jewish. If it wasn't for the multitudes of Jewish people who believed in Him then, and the talmidim(apostles)who preserved His words in the Brit Chadasha (New Testament), I as a Christian believer would have no faith. I read about you in the NY Post. I am trying to find my way around your site to listen to your music. My daughter Maryann, son in law Mark and granddaughter are Messianic believers in Yeshua. I am too but I haven't attended service for a while. We are not Jewish but my daughter observes all the Jewish holy days and Shabbat on Friday. Mark just recorded his first CD with the band members. She quickly told me she knew you and shared a little bit about what was going on in your life. She also sent me the link to your website. I work in France with Chosen People Ministries and have been here for about 1 year now. I am super encouraged by your testimony and the few songs that I listened to. I hope I can encourage you by saying that I am proud of you and super impressed with your chutzpah in using your talent and your platform for sharing Yeshua. B"SD Shavua tov, Manishma? This Shabbos I told my parents about you, about how you found Y'shua HaMoshiach. And they were so glad to hear that another Jew found the Moshiach. Especially my father, who is non-Jewish (I was the only orthodox - Vishnitz - Jew of my familiy). My mother read about you in the biggest Christian magazine of Holland. You get the greetings of my parents :) Oh and.. although you became Messianic, I know that you've still many orthodox-Jewish fans, in Holland and I know also in Israel (mostly youth) :) I'll keep saying it again, but it's really great to see that more and more Jews are coming closer to the Moshiach. Last holiday I spend two months at a Yeshiva in Yerushalayim, and found a Brit Chadasha on the top of a wardrobe. And after we tried to get into Gush Katif last year, I talked the whole way from BeerSheva to Yerushalayim with an orthodox friend of my about Y'shua and 'Messianic Judaism'. So many orthodox people are curious about the person Y'shua HaMoshiach. I hope that more Jews like you will find the Moshiach soon. Who's next? Matisyahu? I heard about you through a local college group. I have found it incrediably difficult to find a Messianic congregation with young adults, let alone music relevant to our time. I visited your site and discovered your desire to reach those who don't know Y'shua; this truly impressed me. You're a new creation in Yeshua kid. I understand the desire to keep your old name (50 Shekel) for the sake of the unsaved Jewish kids, and I think the intentions are pure...but there may be too much attached to the 50 Shekel name and starting new may be the best way to go. It's like a second chance at life almost -- do it for Yah's glory, and let Him do the work of saving the Jews. Cuz ultimately, it is not you who beckons people to Yeshua, but the Holy Spirit who does it. So I suggest droppin the 50 act and bein who you were called to be. Whatever your decision is, Yah's with ya always, and will be guidin and lovin ya the entire way. Prayin for ya brother.

My name is Linda. My sixteen year old son, Ben, is a fan of yours. I thought I would send a note to say that I've enjoyed reading your comments and thoughts. I guess our involvement with anything Messianic began when Ben was a little kid. We attended a church but really enjoyed celebrating the Biblical Feasts and seeing how much Yeshua is in the whole bible--even the New Testament. When Ben was about 4 years old, he was really excited about Hanukkah and lighting the candles that night. (In our family we see that the Shamash candle is Jesus who is our servant savior who is the light of the world. We use this holiday to rededicate our lives to Yeshua.) We were getting ready to go to church and he said that he bet that all the kids at church would be excited too. When I told him that they didn't know about Hanukkah or many of the other holidays that we celebrate, he looked at me shocked and wanted to know why. That was when we decided that we wanted our son to learn all he could about his Biblical heritage so he could share this with others. We started going to a Messianic congregation on Saturday and continued to attend our church on Sunday. Over the years I have seen a lot of things out of balance and to me the only balance is when we refocus on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I continue to pray for both the Church and Messianic Judaism.

My family and I love Israel and the Jewish people and we have visited Israel twice. Next year we are going to LIVE there!! How it is going to work out, well that's in God's hands. I found out about you by reading an Israel Today magazine and I am encouraged that you have come to know Yeshua as the Messiah and that's not all! You see God (through the Holy Spirit..I can't spell the Hebrew name for that, has been teaching us about our Jewish roots and that He hasn't forsaken the Jews. We no longer celebrate Christmas (for the last couple of years) and that seemed a bit strange to other Christians...let alone school friends..but it's because of its pagan roots. So I was encouraged to read that you think the same thing. Anyway that's just a little bit of who we are. After finishing high school I'm looking forward to this next adventure in Israel!!! I feel a bit like Ruth, you know leaving her home and going to Israel, but it is exciting!

Although I am not into rap (I prefer rock such as the Grateful Dead, Phish, etc.) I think it's great to finally hear about a well-known Jewish young adult (35 and under) who proclaims his/her faith in Y'shua. I like what you're doing, I too am Jewish and believe in Jesus. My brother does too but my parents don't. Keep on keepin on and dont let ignorant prideful stubborn Jews or anyone for that matter tear you down. I know you're doing what's right for you and hopefully it'll open up some minds along the way.

I read about you in the NY Post. I am trying to find my way around your site to listen to your music. My daughter Maryann, son in law Mark and granddaughter are Messianic believers in Yeshua. I am too but I haven't attended service for a while. We are not Jewish but my daughter observes all the Jewish holy days and Shabbat on Friday. Mark just recorded his first CD with the band members. I was talking with one of my best friends in the whole world and just happened to mention that I had just read an article on THE French Christian website www.topchretien.fr about this Jewish guy, 50 shekel, who had come to know the Lord... She quickly told me she knew you and shared a little bit about what was going on in your life. She also sent me the link to your website. I work in France with Chosen People Ministries and have been here for about 1 year now. I am super encouraged by your testimony and the few songs that I listened to. I hope I can encourage you by saying that I am proud of you and super impressed with your chutzpah in using your talent and your platform for sharing Yeshua. You're hilarious and I'll be praying that our heavenly Abba would protect you and strengthen you for the rest of your journey on this side of eternity, as will be many people in France now since that article has been posted.

I have heard over a radio station here in New Zealand that you have come to Faith in Yeshua. I have never heard of you and must admit that i am not into rap music. I am a Christian that loves the Jewish people and that just wants to witness to them about Yeshua and the love He has for His people and that Elohim has not foraken them. I just want to encourage and lift you up, 50, to higher growth with the Messiah. I finished reading these Jewish articles against your TRANSFORMATION. I didn't expect half of them to be so profane to one of their family members. Nevertheless, YOU KEEP ON MARCHING to the Way, the Truth and the Life, even if the walk may at times be without a beat and rhythm to rap/sing to. I am thankful for having had a Spirit-filled man of God to open my younger years to the understanding and appreciation of the Torah's rituals and celebrations.
