your words
My friend, Thank you so much for sharing this information with everyone who has ears to hear! I had heard of the Pope visiting with President Bush – which in itself was disturbing news to me – but I didn’t know of his plans to visit a synagogue. I watched the YouTube video on Pope Benedict worshipping at a Jewish Temple – wow! I really had no idea that Catholics and Jews were coming together with the intent to deny Jesus as the Messiah. I am a mere student and there is so much I have yet to know. I am glad that you care enough to share what you know and how you feel, and that you take a stand! You are blessed Aviad. I thank Jesus/Yeshua for bringing you and your music into my life at this critical time. Peace, Georgiana ---- Aviad, the music you have created from the Father Yahweh is so inspiring. It makes me dance and rejoice like King David. May He bless your coming and going, rising and sitting. Shalom, Sandy ---- Shalom Aviad, My name is John. I am 19 years-old and live in Norway, close to Stavanger. I am what you can say "half Jew" from the father side...anyway in Pesach, 2 years ago I was visiting Israel for the first time in 10 years. For me, this was pretty special...and I went through a lot emotionally after the visit. I`ve always been ashamed somehow for being Jewish. I only knew a couple in Norway. For me to not conect with somebody was dificult. As I said, I visited Israel, and it gave me a much improved identity, I thought. The thing was that I somehow was impressed by the country and what they had accomplished. And for some time after I was a "stronger Jew"which for me meant I could stand for my Jewish identity. I was proud really. Than sometime after this I was searching the web and I found your site with the article "True Jew". I just want to say to you, it really changed my way of thinking. I am very glad you do this kind of mission. Finaly I could find myself as a True Jew, not just a Christian with Jewish roots. I just want you to know that for me this was really important :) Keep up the good work Aviad :) Blessings from Norway ----
Shalom Aviad,
It is so awesome to see someone with so much talent taking a stand for Yeshua. I can tell that you are very sincere, and you're not in it for the money or fame. Thank you for being an inspiration. Keep standing for TRUTH! -April ----
I pray for this ministry constantly because it keeps me on the right path, plus I like dance music. -Evan
---- It was fantastich to have your here, hope to see you some other time again. -Line (Denmark) ---- Hi there! We played your music twice during our Shabbat service/Bar Mitzvah we had in Tampa today- with We Delight In Your Shabbat during the Torah processional! I pray you are doing well and staying very strong in Him. Remember, through Y'shua, you have authority over all things- your flesh, the world, everything. -Mara ---- Shalom Bro. Aviad, your CD's are blessing Soldiers in Iraq. -Marvin ---- Bless you, Aviad. Praise God that He brought you into His kingdom. You are young and appealing and strong in your faith -- you can lead many to the truth. I pray that your faith stays firm and that you never waiver now that you have found the One who bought you with His blood. ---- Hey. I just found you on the web and downloaded all your songs! Amazing. God really blessed me through it today! I like the dance-pop sound." -Tobias ---- Hey, Jessica's three oldest kids are over here for the afternoon just to give her a break! On the ride home Abe asked me "Do you know what we do with that Avi's CD? We go into our room and turn it on real loud and then I get my stuffed animal and Hannah gets her stuffed cow and Joel gets his stuffed Dog, and we dance!" They were also asking what the different Hebrew words meant and who was "YAHWEH." So it shows they listen to all the words! They love your CD..........especially to dance to! Just thought it might be an encouragement and fun for you to hear that your music blesses all ages! In Yeshua, Rachel - I am a Haredim Jew from Europe and since that I heard your faith with Yeshua and all your messages, I started to believe in Yeshua as my savior too. My family cannot know about this. They will died, specially my father...Thank you for your messages.I read and listen all that you writes and speaks. That Yeshua bless you. - Hey Aviad! Got HOOKED ON THE TRUTH, and have been enjoying it ever since. This is one album that my kids don't complain when I put it on :) Have a beautiful, peaceful, and inspiring Shabbos. Thanks for all you do in Yahshua's name. Baruch HaShem Yahweh! Your Sister in Yahshua, Christine - Hi, Aviad. I am a Japanese believer from Tokyo. My American friend told me about you and visited your website. I just listened to your music samples. I really liked it. I am going to send your CD to my Orthodox Jewish friend in Paris. May the Lord keep you and strengthen you! - As a secular Jew who has compassion and respect for everyone, and after reading your blog and myspace page, I find it disgusting and vile for Orthodox Jews to slander those who don't share their beliefs and philosophies. Although I don't believe in Jesus as messiah, I totally respect your (and anyone else) who believes in him; the way some Orthodox bully people with whom they disagree is nothing less than a manifestation of pure evil and shows that when they do such things, they are filled with hate, rage, and zero respect for anyone else's way of life and belief system. It really does make me sick to hear about how some of my fellow Jewish bretherin abuse (physically and emotionally) those who do not follow their practices and rituals. I would hope that you would keep doing what you're doing and simply ignore those who would resort to cowardice to get their point across. Anyways, I just had to get that off my chest; I really do enjoy your music even if I don't follow the word of Jesus. Much respect, G. - Hi Aviad, Hope this finds you doing well. I was pleasantly surprised to find you on here... I work for a newspaper in Georgia and my boss is also the editor of the Messianic Times, so I saw the story that the paper did about you... or about 50 shekel.. A while after that, we heard that your website was down and there were rumors that you had somehow renounced your faith because of pressure... Then a friend found your new webste and realized you wre just using your real name now.. Which is awesome.... Anyway, I just wanted to say hello, and encourage you to persevere, and like King David, to serve your purpose in your generation.... for such a time as this... I pray that you will be like the men of Issachar, who studied the scriptures and knew what Israel should do... Praying that Abba surrounds you with his favor and drenches you with his chesed... May he walk ahead of you, like a pillar of fire, that everyone who meets you will give Elohim glory... Walk closely behind Rabbi Yeshua, so closely that you are covered with the dust from his feet. May Adonai speak tenderly to you when you are in the desert, may He refresh you with waters from the springs of En gedi, and satisfy you with honey from the rock. Barukh haba B'Shem Adonai, His handmaiden, Adaobi, age 25, from Nigeria, living in the US - I'M SO HAPPY FOR WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!! GOD BLESS YOU! YOU ROCK!!!! - AND YESHUA IS YOUR ROCK :-) Lars, age 28, Denmark - Dear brother in Christ, Aviad I'm Rune from Norway and the father of 5 kids and the husband of a wonderful wife. First let me say that I understand the tremendous response you generate through your ministry, and for that reason I am prepared to wait a long time for a response to this email, if any at all. And that is OK, Aviad. I just want to thank you for inspiring the kids out there and myself to be true to our Lord whatever the cost. I just want to point out the direction to another true Jew: Ray Comfort from New Zealand who has preached the gospel for 30 years in an uncompromising way. He has maybe the most important message I have ever heard. He uses the Law of Moses to strip people of all their self righteousness and show them their desperate need of God's forgiveness. The Law is good if used for the purpose it was designed, and that was to be a schoolmaster to Christ. It is like a mirror showing people their true state. It is like looking into the mirror in the morning t see what damage the night has done. His desire above all is to see people repent of their sins and receive Jesus as their Lord and saviour. He follows our Lord's example sharing the good news: It was Law to the proud and grace to the humble. I am convinced that you will like his style. :-)
Today is 3/9/2006. I was on the internet looking for that Mitsayahu guy, but you are much more uplifting. I must say that it is awesome hearing Jews realize that Jesus is the Lord and Savior. I am a gentile, but a Christian like you, which binds us closer than any birth right or blood line could ever do. Remember that this time is still of the gentiles, and that a veil has been pulled over the eyes of the Jewish people. For all the Messianic Jews who read this, take comfort in knowing that there are many gentile christians who support you and your nation, and believe that the land and nation of Israel belongs to the true, and only, God. The American press, as well as most other presses in this world, spew out lies and spread the flames of anti-semitism. It is no wonder more Jews don't turn to Christ. What the press doesn't realize is that they are reviving the old nazi-fascist movement of the 1940's, which was and is supported by the Arab world. I will pray for you and your movement. May God richly bless you and bless Israel. Mike, California
- Dear Aviad!!! I just want to encourage you SOOOOO MUCH in what you are doing! You are a living testimony of the fact that FINALLY the hardening upon the Jews is beeing taken away, thanks be to God!!!! I cried my eyes dry when I heard your songs on your home page. Here's a Jew pointing so clearly to Yeshua as Mashiach. Whauww man!!! I just couldn't, and still can't believe that I actually get to be a part of the generation that will experience Jews realizing Jesus as the Messiah. Your testimony gives me SO MUCH hope!!! I long for the New Earth SO sincerely. I hope to experience the day that Jesus announced in Matthew 23:39, when Israel will cry out: Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord. May God who called you, continue to bless you and give you strength, courage and wisdom in this ministry. GO GO. I'm praying for you. Sincerely, and WARMEST greetings from a grafted-in-brother in Denmark. -Lars - Dear Aviad!!! I just want to encourage you SOOOOO MUCH in what you are doing! Our whole church held hands and danced around the whole church inside and outside to that one song over and over. We were so loud people from the street were coming in to see what was going on. I'll never forget the feeling I had that night and how amazing God is and how your song lead us to the coolest worship ever. Right on man. Keep it up. Your going to go far. -Anonymous - So...I just finished watching all your videos on Google, though I should be finishing my term paper which is due in like 10 hrs :) but when I watched the first video I was hooked! Wow! I know a lot of your videos are garnered more for Jews but it has explained so much that I've always questioned. I never understood why Jews do not realize that Christians support them and, I know it sounds cliché, but want to be their friends. I mean, there are so many role models in the Bible that are Jewish: David, Daniel, Joshua, etc. For example, in my church we have just started doing a series of studying Gideon and his life...I mean, being a true Christian, your life becomes permeated with "Jews" ya know what I mean? I think what you're doing is awesome and I pray that God will keep you and lead you where He can use you. I understand what you mean about persecution from people you would least expect it...I am Romanian and Pentecostal, but have found SO MANY people in the Romanian community that make laws of customs and traditions and make God "Romanian". So, when a person deviates from the "accepted norm" aka rules/laws, well, all hell breaks loose....okay getting off on a tangent, I just wanted to tell you how cool it is that you are so truthful and uncompromising in your videos, songs, etc. God Bless, Ligia, age 20, Michigan, USA - Just writing to you Aviad, to tell you that the word of God through you is spreading to our church! I went to a youth party at church on saturday. Next thing I know, all the kids are looking and loving your website that I was looking at. Instead of being in main room for the party, they were listening to your teaching. Believe me these kids dont usually talk about God that much unless they're in church and they are loving it. They were getting really interested about the information that they had no clue about! Of which on sunday there was still discussions about the teaching you had shared! God bless you in Yeshua ( Jesus Christ ), Rini, age 24, U.K. - I found you while doing a search for English/Hebrew Jewish music. I found Matisyahu and was pretty impressed until I read about his affiliation with the Chabad. He's a great artist, but I have issues with supporting a message of the "Brooklyn Messiah", even though most of his messages don't directly proclaim him, I know it's his belief. Anyway... it was through this search that I found you... which is actually what I was looking for, but didn't even know existed. I belong to a Messianic congregation and have many religious CD's, but nothing with the hip hop modern sound I enjoy. You have a new fan! -Shannon - Dear Aviad. You have no idea how proud we Norwegians are of you. The videos are so extremely nice, and you are so extremely brave. -Ingvill, Norway - Your visible and outspoken stand for Jesus Christ, as the Jewish Messiah, is heroic. I am so proud of you. I know that you have taken much heat and it must be so very hard. But as Jesus Himself has said in the Scriptures, John 15:20; "If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also." So, this is no surprise. The more public you are, the greater the persecution. But through the power of the Holy Spirit, you have the ability to persevere and overcome the attacks. But Aviad, also remember the words of Paul, ROMANS 12:14 - "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse." Being a Christian and following Jesus can be very difficult and painful at times. He asks us to do things that are very unnatural and against our nature. But we are new creatures in Christ and have the power to act differently than the world. But one of your life verses should be, 1 Samuel 2:30 But now the LORD declares: "Those who honor me I will honor." You are honoring God by your stand for the Messiah and probably not immediately, but with time, you will be honored. Let's keep in touch. I just wish I was near you, to stand by you and encourage you, during your tribulation. Jack Sternberg, MD (Doctor Jack) link - We are all Saints brother. All those who believe in the true Messiah, we dont need to be Catholic to be called saints. The Jews who practice Judaism need to be found because they are not following God, but the thoughts of men. The Talmud, Zohar, Midrash, ect, they refer to what rabbi's say and not God. I know what its like. A synogague I went to. All eyes were on the Rabbi. I asked people there, "Do you ever read Torah?" They commented, "No we just come to hear the Rabbi speak about it." I always say read Isaiah 53 it speaks of whom the rabbi say His name should be blotted out. The big problem is most Jews dont even read the Torah themselves. They rely too much on rabbis. This is why most Jews don't believe in Yeshua: because the rabbi tells them so. That skit with the rabbi you have sounds so truthful. People say he knows much, hes been well schooled for many years. Israel as the suffering servant (as rabbis believe Isaiah 53 is about them), you said it right when it says HE not WE. Tell everyone they need to read the Septuagent translation in which every Messianic prophecy can only refer to one person. It's too bad it's not read. I bet most Rabbi's know about the Septuagent but keep quiet about it because they wish to retain their power over the people. Yeshua said it best "You seek the praises of men, but not the true praise which is ONLY from God."Follow who Moses would have followed and that is not a rabbi. Judaism is far from what was given to Moses. All they look at is the rabbi's explanation of atonement: GOOD WORKS! Too bad my Tanakh says different "Your works are like filthy rags to Yahweh." You know how filthy? Filthier than period rags!!!S orry but I want you to feel grossed out about your works so that you won't boast about them, because our works do not have an inch on the great work God has done by sending his Son. Yeshua is the Messiah I need no convincing of that, Micheal S. - Aviad, Shabbat Shalom! I hope all is going well for you and the ministry. I'm speading the word up here. A lot of people are really digging your music, and most importantly, the message behind it. Thanks for keepin' it real and for your unashamed, bold witness. You're a great example. Seriously, I'm really looking forward to picking up your upcoming CD. Do you have a release date yet? I've got a few friends up here who plan to pick it up too. Exciting times! Anyway, have a restful shabbat and a great week! God bless, Kristi - Hello Aviad Cohen! My name is Katie and I was just listening to your music and I was in awe! I know you probably get this a lot but your choice of music and the words you use make a new option of worship available and it is such a blessing!! I love it! Thank you so much for following God's will for you! Im a Jew who believes in Yeshua also and God wants His chosen people (the Jews) to know His Son!!! Thanks!! Hope to hear back from you!!! Katie, 12 years old, Chicago, Illinois - Hey bro, I was so amazed to find this site. I have never seen any Jewish/Christian music before and this stuff rocks. I am a Jew who believes in Jesus and for that I am constantly getting "tormented." I've been called more names than I can think of. I just think of what Jesus went through for us and I don't mind it. Thanks for putting out this music. I totally love it. Next time people make fun of me, I'm sending them this site. That'll teach em! I AM NOT ALONE! Abby, 16 years old, New Jersey - B"H Aviad, Mazal Tov with finding the Mashiach. It was the same with me. I was also orthodox Jewish, and later on became Messianic. This is really great to hear. Keep close to Y'shua, keep Shabbos, and holding the Torah, one of the most important things for everyone (Jew and non-Jew). And about your new songs... Yasher Koach! Yoel, 19 years old, Holland - You are the best Christian singer I have ever heard and you need to keep sharing your word and keep spreading the gospel until you die and if anybody wants you to stop writing songs you tell them that God is alive and He will save their life when they need him and if nobody has ever heard your music they need to get in the groove. Savannah, 10 years old, Kentucky - SHALOM!! My fam and I first learned about you from a Jewish Newspaper (Jerusalem Post or something like that). You were still an Orthodox Jew then. My Mom knew Yeshua wanted you to be a part of His Kindgom so we prayed that you would come to know the truth. Probably a few months later you became a true Jew!!! Praise God!! We just found your website this year (2005) and were totally amazed. We appreciate the truth that you so zealously speak! Your music is so amazing! I especially love the shofars. Every time I hear one sound it gives me goose bumps! May the Lord bless you in everything you put your hand to and may He protect you wherever you go. Kate, 17 years old, New York - Hey! I have no words to express how grateful I am to you for being strong for our Messiah, Yeshua. I am a 16 year old true jew girl living in a world of darkness where all mediums of entertainment are penetrated by evil. I just wated to thank you for being who you are and creating music that not only encourges the spirit but also entertains the senses. Who knew that Hip-Hop, Techno and God could mix? :) Yeshua loves you and He's there for you always. Go Je-Je-Jew-Unit! Mandie, 16 years old - Wow! You're so radical, very cool. You are an example to me. You speak truth, people hunger for. Go on!! You are a blessing. You're words are full of wisdom and they're sharp! They have a great effect. Bless you with many opportunities to tell about God and with succes so that many people shall hear you :) Maryse, 24 years old - Praise God, Yeshua and The Holy Spirit, Avi, you are socking it to 'em. You hold no punches. You are a strong man of God and I praise God for you and for Him allowing me to know you. You are doing a whole lot more than most of us in the battle against the enemy. Yeshua be with you always. Shalom my friend and brother in Yeshua In His love and mine, David - Hi Aviad, My name is Linda. My sixteen year old son, Ben, is a fan of yours. I thought I would send a note to say that I've enjoyed reading your comments and thoughts. I guess our involvement with anything Messianic began when Ben was a little kid. We attended a church but really enjoyed celebrating the Biblical Feasts and seeing how much Yeshua is in the whole bible--even the New Testament. When Ben was about 4 years old, he was really excited about Hanukkah and lighting the candles that night. (In our family we see that the Shamash candle is Jesus who is our servant savior who is the light of the world. We use this holiday to rededicate our lives to Yeshua.) We were getting ready to go to church and he said that he bet that all the kids at church would be excited too. When I told him that they didn't know about Hanukkah or many of the other holidays that we celebrate, he looked at me shocked and wanted to know why. That was when we decided that we wanted our son to learn all he could about his Biblical heritage so he could share this with others. We started going to a Messianic congregation on Saturday and continued to attend our church on Sunday. Over the years I have seen a lot of things out of balance and to me the only balance is when we refocus on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I continue to pray for both the Church and Messianic Judaism. Blessings, Linda - Shalom and G'day! My name is Michelle, I'm a 17 yr old Aussie Christian and I have never heard your music before but I would like to say how you have been an encouragement. My family and I love Israel and the Jewish people and we have visited Israel twice. Next year we are going to LIVE there!! How it is going to work out, well that's in God's hands. I found out about you by reading an Israel Today magazine and I am encouraged that you have come to know Yeshua as the Messiah and that's not all! You see God (through the Holy Spirit..I can't spell the Hebrew name for that, has been teaching us about our Jewish roots and that He hasn't forsaken the Jews. We no longer celebrate Christmas (for the last couple of years) and that seemed a bit strange to other Christians...let alone school friends..but it's because of its pagan roots. So I was encouraged to read that you think the same thing. Anyway that's just a little bit of who we are. After finishing high school I'm looking forward to this next adventure in Israel!!! I feel a bit like Ruth, you know leaving her home and going to Israel, but it is exciting! God bless ya, Michelle, age 17, Australia - Dude, your songs are awesome and I'm into heavy metal. You should go on jctv or tbn, you'll get more exposure and your word will reach more. Luis - I was totally amazed, never thought you could mix God and techno, but you definitely made it happen. Thank you for brighting up my day. It's hard to be good when all you see on TV is garbage. Thanks again, Dan - "The greatest song writer, singer and activist of our Perfect Lord. I picked up the paper because of the title of the article. I think it's awesome that you have come to faith and pray that you will keep up the good fight. Be blessed and know that there are many out there that are praying for you. Ira - Hey, bro! You are truly a blessing, know that?!!! Keep it up! Love, Milena - I Love you Jesus and you! Shalom Bizalyah, Ruth & Zaneta, Nigeria - I have just read your bio and became deeply moved by it. We here across the ocean in Hawaii have our assistant Pastor to teach us many things you mentioned. His name is Pastor Tai Mostovoy. He is a Jew that became a Christian and through him, we are learning and celebrating many Jewish holidays and above all, taught us that Jesus came to fulfill the Jewish law, not abolish it. And it is through him, many other churches here in Hawaii are also learning about the feasts and festivals. That is the reason why I became moved by you. Praise the Lord for you. May God bless you every step of the way (I can see He already has) Aloha ke Akua (God is Love) Annette - Hello my dear brother! How are ya? It's me, Haya from Israel. Cheers, Charles, Kenya - Never give up, bro. Never give up. Vanessa - Boychik! Y'shua is still at the right hand of your Abba. He intercedes for you. Seek His face while you are in the valley. Rabbi Brown, Louisiana - Thanks for helping me out u have encouraged me more than u know by ur music, keep up the work of god my brother may in him u are blessed for the courage he has given u to stand up and be counted for HIM! Hallelu YAH! Michael M. - Yo Shek---I heard about you through a friend here in Israel and im stoked to hear about what you're doing. Im a True Jew MC from Jersey and im living in Israel rapping for the summer. Can I contact you somehow? I'm looking for true Jews to spit with if you know what im saying. Peace Jeremiah, age 23, Ramsey, New Jersey - God bless your ministry to Israel! Augustine - 50 Shekel, with your new belief in Yeshua you are mishpochah (family). Yeshua (Jesus) spoke of Moshe (Moses)in Yochanan (John) 5:46. "For if you really believed Moshe, you would believe Me; because it was about Me that he wrote. But if you say you don't believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?" Yeshua was born Jewish. If it wasn't for the multitudes of Jewish people who believed in Him then, and the talmidim(apostles)who preserved His words in the Brit Chadasha (New Testament), I as a Christian believer would have no faith. Be fully Jewish. Express the truth of Yeshua proudly through the gifting of music that Elohim has given to you. Who knows but that you were born for such a time as this?! The Messianic movement is not perfect, but believers all around the world need to hear that their Lord is Jewish, and the Jewish people need to see that it is OK to learn about Yeshua and remain Jewish. May you not be swayed by the many opinions that will swirl around you. Make your music to Him from your heart, and you will indeed bless many! Hazak, hazak, v'nit'chazek! (Be strong, be strong, and let us be strengthened!) Lisa, age 47, Israel - Blessings from Temple Dance (my board name)- same congregation as Dixie. I dance with joy, Aviad, at the hearing of your KNOWING Yeshua=YHVH. Praying our Father's desire for you may bring you to fellowship with His own in the heart of the South. We are so blessed here and would love to share that blessing with you. May all things bring the One Who alone is Worthy,..glory & honour, and praise. You are kept securely by the best "Keeper". He will never fail you. I will cu ...no doubt! Shalom, shalom Bridgett, Louisiana - Keep it up my Messianic Jewish brotha! He will always keep us, never forsake us. Awesome to see as another testimony of HaMashiach's works in His people in these days. We are truly complete now! I look forward to your music as it ministers in Him to us. Shalom alechem. Shaul - Dear Aviad, My name is Whitney and I read the article about you in the messianic times and I just wanted to let you know that it really blessed me about your decision to accept yeshua as your messiah. I like the style of music you play and I'm really excited to know there is something in the messianic community who can reach people with this same taste of music. There may be a possibility of me going to Israel next summer to Heartrock cafe. They have an open mic night and the ministry is there to reach the youth of Tel Aviv. If you ever plan to go back to Israel for a concert (or Michigan) I c would really be blessed to see you in concert. Looking forward to getting cd/dvd. In Yeshua's love, Whit Whitney, Michigan - Shalom my brother! Glad to see you put up a guest book. Rabbi Brown told the entire shul all about you this morning; he calls you da "boy" (means it in such a loving way). As a Jew who has been saved by grace through faith in Yeshua HaMachiach, I can only say "isn't it amazing that He left the 99 to come looking one of us?" Just remember you are never alone. Baruch Hashem! Leah aka "Dixie", Louisiana - I am a Jewish believer from NYC. Although I am not into rap (I prefer rock such as the Grateful Dead, Phish, etc.) I think it's great to finally hear about a well-known Jewish young adult (35 and under) who proclaims his/her faith in Y'shua. Congrads 50 Shekel (and I'll definitely pick up your next CD if you also decide to pick up a guitar and start jammin'!!! Rob, New York - Omg this is the best song ever (We Delight_In Your Shabbat)...and its trance.techno...i love this song ur best song yet one of ma favorites....good job aVIAD!! Alan, 13 years old, Illinois - Hey man, I like what you're doing, I too am Jewish and believe in Jesus. My brother does too but my parents don't. Keep on keepin on and dont let ignorant prideful stubborn Jews or anyone for that matter tear you down. I know you're doing what's right for you and hopefully it'll open up some minds along the way. Much love, Lil, age 24, California - Thanks for standing up for the Jewish people. Let Hashem bless you. Jimmy, age 21, New York - Count it all joy when they persecute you--it means you are for REAL!!! I am so proud of you! Rhonda, California - I read about you in the NY Post. I am trying to find my way around your site to listen to your music. My daughter Maryann, son in law Mark and granddaughter are Messianic believers in Yeshua. I am too but I haven't attended service for a while. We are not Jewish but my daughter observes all the Jewish holy days and Shabbat on Friday. Mark just recorded his first CD with the band members. It is not out yet but if you want to listen you can go to http://echadmusic.com/ I praise God for you. May He bless your ministry. Connie, Connecticut - Dear Aviad, I was talking with one of my best friends in the whole world and just happened to mention that I had just read an article on THE French Christian website www.topchretien.fr about this Jewish guy, 50 shekel, who had come to know the Lord... She quickly told me she knew you and shared a little bit about what was going on in your life. She also sent me the link to your website. I work in France with Chosen People Ministries and have been here for about 1 year now. I am super encouraged by your testimony and the few songs that I listened to. I hope I can encourage you by saying that I am proud of you and super impressed with your chutzpah in using your talent and your platform for sharing Yeshua. You're hilarious and I'll be praying that our heavenly Abba would protect you and strengthen you for the rest of your journey on this side of eternity, as will be many people in France now since that article has been posted. The Lord bless you and keep you... Rebecca, France - I am saddened to read that the people of your birthright are turning their back on you for your testimony. The One who sees all and knows all is taking care and He will be as proud of you as I am, for standing up (and I don't even know you, yet!) Mary - I have heard over a radio station here in New Zealand that you have come to Faith in Yeshua. I have never heard of you and must admit that i am not into rap music. I am a Christian that loves the Jewish people and that just wants to witness to them about Yeshua and the love He has for His people and that Elohim has not foraken them. I see that you have a link to Arnold Fructenbaum's web site. I enjoy his teachings from a Jewish perspective. Also I would encourige you to have a look at a fellow Jewish believers website. Jaacov Damcani. His ministery is called Trumpet of Salvation. He is based in Jaffa, Israel. You have so much to give to your fellow Jews. I hope that Elohim blesses and you mightily for His work. Baruch Ha Bashem HaMoshiach Yeshua. Baruch HaBah Be'Shem Adonai. Johan, New Zealand - I just want to encourage and lift you up, 50, to higher growth with the Messiah. I finished reading these Jewish articles against your TRANSFORMATION. I didn't expect half of them to be so profane to one of their family members. Nevertheless, YOU KEEP ON MARCHING to the Way, the Truth and the Life, even if the walk may at times be without a beat and rhythm to rap/sing to. I am thankful for having had a Spirit-filled man of God to open my younger years to the understanding and appreciation of the Torah's rituals and celebrations. Cpl. T.J., United States Marine Corps - B"SD Shavua tov, Manishma? This Shabbos I told my parents about you, about how you found Y'shua HaMoshiach. And they were so glad to hear that another Jew found the Moshiach. Especially my father, who is non-Jewish (I was the only orthodox - Vishnitz - Jew of my familiy). My mother read about you in the biggest Christian magazine of Holland. You get the greetings of my parents :) Oh and.. although you became Messianic, I know that you've still many orthodox-Jewish fans, in Holland and I know also in Israel (mostly youth) :) I'll keep saying it again, but it's really great to see that more and more Jews are coming closer to the Moshiach. Last holiday I spend two months at a Yeshiva in Yerushalayim, and found a Brit Chadasha on the top of a wardrobe. And after we tried to get into Gush Katif last year, I talked the whole way from BeerSheva to Yerushalayim with an orthodox friend of my about Y'shua and 'Messianic Judaism'. So many orthodox people are curious about the person Y'shua HaMoshiach. I hope that more Jews like you will find the Moshiach soon. Who's next? Matisyahu? I hope so... of course, it is good for every Jew (and non-Jew) to know Y'shua, but when you're well known in the 'Jewish-world', it makes people think...Oh yeah.. is the conversation on your website with 'Rabbi Skit' real? Well, I know it's a bit late, but I hope you had a nice Hanukah. Kol tov, Yoel - Hey Aviad! I'm a big fan. The name's Kristi and I'm a Messianic gentile in Alaska. I'm looking forward to picking up your new record. Keep doin' what you're doin'. God bless. - I heard about you through a local college group. I have found it incrediably difficult to find a Messianic congregation with young adults, let alone music relevant to our time. I visited your site and discovered your desire to reach those who don't know Y'shua; this truly impressed me. In Romans 10:1, Paul declared that his "heart's desire and prayer to G-d for Israel is that they might be saved." This is my prayer as well, and I cannot express how pleased I am for this amazing ministry of music. Thanks for all you do. Shalom, Laura, age 18, Canada - You're a new creation in Yeshua kid. I understand the desire to keep your old name (50 Shekel) for the sake of the unsaved Jewish kids, and I think the intentions are pure...but there may be too much attached to the 50 Shekel name and starting new may be the best way to go. It's like a second chance at life almost -- do it for Yah's glory, and let Him do the work of saving the Jews. Cuz ultimately, it is not you who beckons people to Yeshua, but the Holy Spirit who does it. So I suggest droppin the 50 act and bein who you were called to be. Whatever your decision is, Yah's with ya always, and will be guidin and lovin ya the entire way. Prayin for ya brother. - I'm thrilled to see you going breakneck speed for the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. -Under the blood, Benjamin R. - Why do you call yourself a rapper when you sing? I gotta say, though I'm not into your religion, "We Delight" has a very very catchy bassline. -Anonymous, age 19, USA - I believe that what you are doing is very selfless and kind. There are many kids out there that need guidance to the Lord. So I believe that it doesnt matter what name you use that as long as you keep doing what you are doing for kids that they will be appreciative no matter what. -Beth, age 27, Canada - Hi Aviad, I am reminded of Abram, Sarai, Jacob, and Saul who had their names changed..."For His Glory." All had “Reached Out” to Messiah and were “Hooked on the Truth.” Abraham, Sarah, Israel, and Paul have amazing personal testimonies of Salvation and were not ashamed to share the Good News…just like you! Yahweh made a way for His Word to be proclaimed through them especially with their new names, He will do the same for you. I would stick with Aviad Cohen. You are a Hebrew now right? I check into your site everyday and am encouraged to read about people all over the world finding Messiah. Keep up the great work! Whatever name you choose to use, I will still support you and your ministry. Shalom. - Aviad, I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from you today. Thank you. I recall reading alot of your site a few months ago and being so impressed with you. When I heard you being played on wstw.fm (the owner introduced you even!), I thought I'd write you a note of encouragement at last. I'm sure it cannot be easy for you. Your music sounds great though and you have a good heart and it shows. I will keep you in my prayers for career success, a helpmate and of course, true spiritual joy. If you're ever in South FL, give me a call. Daisy (Margalit in Hebrew ;o) P.S. Eddie Ordaz (wstw guy) asked me what I thought of playing your stuff and I've encouraged him to do so. ;o) I hope he does. - Shalom Aviad, Keep up the great work for the Lord! Blessings in Yeshua, Marc - Excellent job so far with the new tunes bro. Yeshua is smilin for sure. Stay strong. Your gonna be used to do His work in a big way. There's about 500,000 Jews in Southern Florida that need to hear your music. Hope you can make it down sometime. You've gotta place to hang with this Messianic, brother. Keep up the good fight! Shalom - Blessings from Temple Dance (my board name)- same congregation as Dixie. Shalom, shalom - Keep it up my Messianic Jewish brotha! He will always keep us, never forsake us. Awesome to see as another testimony of HaMashiach's works in His people in these days. We are truly complete now! I look forward to your music as it ministers in Him to us. Shalom alechem, Whitney, Michigan - Dear Aviad, my name is whitney and I read the article about you in the messianic times and I just wanted to let you know that it really blessed me about your decision to accept yeshua as your messiah. I like the style of music you play and I'm really excited to know there is something in the messianic community who can reach people with this same taste of music. There may be a possibility of me going to Israel next summer to Heardrock cafe. They have an open mic night and the ministry is there to reach the youth of Tel Aviv. If you ever plan to go back to Israel for a concert (or Michigan) I c would really be blessed to see you in concert. Looking forward to getting cd/dvd. In Yeshua's love, Whit - Shalom my brother! Rabbi Brown told the entire shul all about you this morning; he calls you da "boy" (means it in such a loving way). As a Jew who has been saved by grace through faith in Yeshua HaMachiach, I can only say "isn't it amazing that He left the 99 to come looking for one of us?" Just remember you are never alone. Baruch Hashem! Leah, Lousiana - I am a Jewish believer from NYC. Although I am not into rap (I prefer rock such as the Grateful Dead, Phish, etc.) I think it's great to finally hear about a well-known Jewish young adult (35 and under) who proclaims his/her faith in Y'shua. Congrats and I'll definitely pick up your next CD if you also decide to pick up a guitar and start jammin'!!! -Rob Hello Aviad Cohen!
Your heart is so honest and music so pure-Yes I'm a #1 fan! Stay obedient- it is better than sacrifice!!! Satan will try to use your weaknesses-I pray you make them your strengths-day by day-Jesus is SSSSSOOOO full of LLLLOOOOVVVEEE!!! Mary - I just read an article on you in Messianic Times and was blown away and even more blown away after reading more about you on this site. I'm very delighted to hear from you buddy. It would be great for you to send me some of your stuff to listen to. I'm also in the process of saving some cash to buy equipments to set up a studio. I trust in God that all is going to be well. Kenyan people are very hospitable and I promise u that they would love to hear your spiel. Take care and keep up with the good job that you are doing! Cheers, Charles, Kenya - Never give up, bro. Never give up. Vanessa - Boychik! Y'shua is still at the right hand of your Abba. He intercedes for you. Seek His face while you are in the valley. Hebrews 11:1,3,6 FAITH! The enemy wants to sift you as wheat but Y'shua is YOUR hope. Listen, sit, walk, stand. Seek ye first the Kingdom of Adonai and all things will be added. Its a guarantee. Its His Word.
