Once I came to know Yahweh, the God of Israel in Truth and accepted His Son, Yeshua as my Messiah, I had a lot of questions. To be a Jew and believe in Jesus made more than just sense. It was True Jew, without a doubt. But what about all these Jewish traditions. Where did they come from? Were they just passed down traditions or did they come out of God's Word. I wanted to know. I have one life to live here on earth and before I go home to be with Yahweh, I had answers and once I found them, I wanted to share them with you. This gender specific act is exceptionally rich in its history (Jewish witchcraft history) of Kabbalistic interpretation and readily lends itself to a detailed depiction of the feminine, (Wicca and New Age) in general, and women, in particular.3

You Will Never See Me Wear This "Magic Jewish" Star

You are going to flip over this one...because it's true...and you will find out that the star is NOT for Jew. Many unsaved and Messianic Jews consider the "Jewish Star" a symbol of "their identity" as God's chosen people, yet they are in serious deep denial of it's true roots, which is an abomination to the God of Israel. Even if some scholars will twist whatever they can to prove this to be a legit symbol of Israel, the Holy Spirit tells me it is truly demonic and the facts prove it. Jewish people WORSHIP this star and so do many Gentile believers who are into the Hebrew roots of their faith. This is not appropriate at all.

The Six Pointed Star by Dr. O.J. Graham
The Six-Pointed Star is going into its fourth edition. There have been thousands of letters over the years and comments are available upon request. The questions which are asked of this author are:
What made you even remotely curious that the six-pointed star might not be "Jewish"? After all, it is called the "Star of David" and has it not become the international insignia of Jewishness and the State of Israel?
The controversy and the challenge are answered in the book. The quest began at York University, Ontario, Canada, when an Orthodox Jewish friend of mine was investigating Messianic Judaism. Our intellectual conversation covered many topics which included the so-called Star of David, which he said he did not use as the symbol G-d really gave the children of Israel was the seven-branched Menorah. Being a journalist, he challenged me to explore the six-pointed star. And I accepted the challenge, with the plan that I would prove its Jewishness. After all, I wore one and felt I had to defend it, even to him.
That was the summer of 1979 and the research took me four years to complete. I found a few Jews who knew it was not Jewish, and these are mentioned in the book. Others did not think about it, and most did not care whether it was orignially occult or not - they did not think it mattered. I checked Jewish sources and all their encyclopaedias attested that it was not originally Jewish and was not used as the symbol for any of the twelve tribes of Israel. Jewish sources said it wasn't originally Jewish. So, what was it? That took four years of research. From archive to archive, library to library...history book to history book.
 The first mention of the star was in Amos 5:26 regarding the trek from Egypt to Canaan. Then in 922 B.C., when Solomon married the daughter of Pharoah and went into magic and witchcraft and built an altar to Ashtoroth and Moloch. The book traces the six pointed star from Egypt to Solomon, to Arab Magic and Witchcraft, to Druid use(references are documented). The book traces the star through Freemasonry usage to Mayer Amschel Bauer, who, in the 17th century, changed his name to depict the red six-pointed star (or shield) which he had hung on his door in Germany, and thus began the family of "Red Shield" or Rothschild. The research carried on through this family, to their court of arms, to Cabala, to Astrology, to Hitler and his putting a yellow six-pointed star on all Jews during the holocaust, to the Zionist symbol, and finally to the flag of the State of Israel and beyond.
Because this symbol is comprised of a six within a six within a six (6 points, 6 triangles, 6 sides of the hexagon in the middle) the research also included a look at the 666 prophecies in the Book of Daniel etc., regarding the "wilful King" (anti-Christ) and the "mark of the beast". The Scriptural significance of the number seven and a Biblical description of the real Messiah and the seven-branched Candlestick (Menorah) which God gave to the children of Israel as an everlasting covenant (which is also mentioned in the New Testament) is covered. All the sources are written at the bottom of each page making it easy for readers to see and check for themselves.
I started out to defend this symbol, but ended up shocked and quite devasted with the evidence gleaned from the academic research. I personally do not have a Mezzuzzah on my door. I do not wear Tefillin. There is nothing in the Scriptures that SPECIFICALLY details these objects. The God of Israel is SPECIFIC.

The use of amulets by Biblical Israelites is specifically criticized in Is. 3:18-20. (AMULETS ARE AN ABOMINATION TO THE GOD OF ISRAEL) It is unclear from the context whether amulets qua amulets are being condemned (Love charms? Figure it out. Doubt the God of Israel is happy seeing His children wearing witchcraft objects), or whether they are merely included in a list of vanities and luxuries associated with women. Only two physical examples of amulets from the Biblical era have been uncovered so far. The first is a tomb inscription found at Khibet el Qom dating to the 8th Century BCE asking for the protection of YHWH and his asherah (Asherah is Ashterah...it is not anything to do with Yahweh (YHWH) the God of Israel...this rabbi doesn't know his own Scriptures). The second is also a tomb artifact, but this one consisting of two rolled up copper plates inscribed with the Priestly Blessing (Num. 6:24-25) found at Ketef Hinnom and dating from the 7th Century.
Evidence for the use of amulets grows dramatically post-Biblically. II Maccabees 12:40 reports disapprovingly of slain Jewish warriors found wearing amulets with foreign gods inscribed on them. Again, it is unclear whether the author objects to talismans in general or to just these synchronistic examples. Of course, the tefillin worn by Jews on the head and arm to fulfill (what?) the commandment (Deut. 6:8) (That is a rabbinic interpretation. The God of Israel did NOT state ANYWHERE in His Word to SPECIFICALLY make boxes with black leather straps and include Scripture in them, selll them for $600 and up and make Jews painfully and tightly strap them onto their arms and foreheads each day, reciting vain liturgy. This is a man-made tradition and keeps people in BONDAGE. Even Yeshua Messiah addresses the Pharisees about this. Sad thing is, many Messianics choose to wear this amulet. I will have nothing to do with this.) are regarded as having talismanic properties by some Jews (These rabbis are so foolish to give away the truth behind their lies they have kept people in bondage with. Now I bring it to you, fresh like challah bread), thought that is not their authoritative function (The Tefillin have NO authorotative function). The standard Greek translation for tefillin, "phylactery," highlights this perception. Likewise, in some circles the mezuzah is regarded as a charm against misfortune (Are you starting to wake up about all this or what?).

The Hamsa (خمسة, Khamsa, literally "five", חמסה, Khamsa) is a symbol used in amulets, charms and jewelry to protect against the "evil eye."
An alternative Islamic name for this charm is the Hand of Fatima or Eye of Fatima, in reference to Fatima Zahra, the daughter of Muhammed. An alternative Jewish name is the Hand of Miriam, in reference to Miriam, the sister of Moses and Aaron. It is a kind of "protecting hand" or "hand of God".
Some associate the significance of the five fingers to the five books of the Torah for Jews, the Five Pillars of Islam for Sunnis, or the five People of the Cloak for Shi'ites. This symbolism may have evolved at a later stage, in view of the fact that archaeological evidence suggests the hamsa predates both religions.
In recent years some activists for Middle East peace have chosen to wear the hamsa as a symbol of the similarities
of origins and tradition between the Islamic and Jewish faiths. (Compromise) The fingers can point up or down.
Hamsas are popular as charms and decorations in Israel and are not considered to have any Islamic connection other than the Arabic name. Among Jews, fish are considered to be a symbol of good luck (Luck=mystical witchcraft), so many hamsas are also decorated with fish images. Hamsas are incorporated in wall plaques, mobiles, keychains and necklaces. Sometimes they are inscribed with Hebrew prayers, such as the Sh'ma, the Birkat HaBayit (Blessing for the Home), or the Tefilat HaDerech (Traveler's Prayer).

Tefillin resembled amulets in their earliest form, strips of parchment in a leather case, which is called either "bag" or "little house." Tefillin and "keme'ot" are, in fact, often mentioned side by side (Shab. vi. 2; Miḳ. vi. 4; Kelim xxiii. 9; et al.), and were liable to be mistaken one for the other ('Er. x. 1 et al.). As in the case of the Torah roll, the only permissible material was parchment, while the "mezuzah" was made of a different kind of parchment (Shab. viii. 3 et al.); for this reason a discarded tefillah could be made into a mezuzah, but not vice versa (Men. 32a). It was made square, not round (Meg. iv. 8). The head-tefillah consisted of four strips in four compartments, while the hand-tefillah consisted of one strip. The former could be made out of the latter, but not vice versa; and they were independent of each other.
In the Diaspora and Post-Talmudic Times
Although the tefillin were worn throughout the day, not only in Israel but also in Babylon, the custom of wearing them did not become entirely popular; and during the Diaspora they were worn nowhere during the day. But it appears from the Letter of Aristeas and from Josephus that the tefillin were known to the Jews of the Diaspora. At this time it may have become customary (it's not a Bblical mandate) to wear them only during prayer, traces of this custom being found in Babylon (Men. 36b).
In France in the thirteenth century they were not generally worn even during prayer. The difference of opinion between Rashi (d. 1105) and his grandson Jacob Tam (d. 1171) in regard to the arrangement of the four sections indicates that no fixed custom in wearing them had arisen. Rashi and Tam's tefillin are referred to; scrupulously pious persons put on the tefillin of R. Tam after prayer. There were differences of opinion between the Spanish and the German Jews in regard to the knot in the strap (see illustrations in Surenhusius, cited below).

Tefillin, also called phylacteries, are leather objects used in Jewish prayer (vain repetitive liturgy is not prayer), containing Biblical verses (and a whole bunch of "other stuff"). They are an essential part of morning prayer services, and are worn on a daily basis (except Sabbath and festivals) by many Jews.
The origin of wearing tefillin comes from the Torah (five books of Moses), in Deuteronomy 6:8, 11:18; Exodus 13:9, 16. (I just posted the Scriptures they are referring to. There is NO MENTION of "Tefillin" a/k/a black boxes and black straps...this is not mentioned in the Scriptures. They are lying when they tell you this. Why do you buy the lie? Because you don't bother to investigate for yourself.) While these passages were interpreted literally by most commentators (compare, however, the view of the Karaites, Abraham ibn Ezra, and Rashbam on Exodus 13:9), the Rabbis held that the general law only was expressed in the Bible, the application and elaboration of it being entirely matters of the oral law (fraud). The earlier tannaim (rabbis of the Mishnah) described their views of the tefillin in the Mishnah and Talmud. (Of course...this is a rabbinic man-made tradition that is NOT REQUIRED and in actuality is an amulet. This is not of God at all.)
